-=Mono Print=-

-=Printmaking=-

This is a picture of a Mosque in Kampong Glam in Singapore...this picture represent my religion, my tradition and myself....these works really is time consuming from carving the rubber pad(lino) and to the inking and then to the cleaning up...

To get this picture, i use adobe photoshop to edit, layer and enhance the picture... this work demands discipline and patience to learn how to use the software and paste layers after layers on a single picture

-=Painting using Chinese ink=-

This is a picture of a headless horseman... using sharpened chopsticks, the tones are build up slowly by adding the ink bit by bit with water.. The more diluted the ink the lighter the tone..

Me and my friends stayed back at school till late night to try to paint a scenery at night ... It is quite interesting how the colours react to our eyes at night..

This painting is painted by closing my eyes... its using my unconscious mind to work... the final work looks good even i drew this by random ...

=Mono print=

Mono print using oil base paints ... picture of an old Chinese junk boat..i have to print according to the lightest colour to the darkest... this mono print takes a lot of time because you would have to wait for the oil base colour to dry up before you print another colour... anyways ...doing mono prints can be tedious and it can also test your patients .... your work space will get messy definably... by experience ... never get the paints stuck on your clothes cause the paints are hard to remove...

This drawing took me a very long time to do ... it is time consuming and it really test my patient and discipline as an artist... lots of dots..... slowly building up to form a picture of an old man...

This is painted at the corridors of the old lasalle. I'm just trying to catch the moments in the old school, before we all move to the new school..

Really had fun doing this painting. I use thick paints and carefree brush strokes for this work. i think this painting is one of my best work so far.

Art have always been apart of me back then during my school days..and now it is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life..and the first step i took
was to study in Lasalle sia..,broaden my knowledge n sharpen my skills..
